Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a stunning property, ideal for a summer getaway. Very comfortable beds. The pool and outdoor area were very conducive to a relaxing break. We loved the understated style. A great little corner store to stock up on food and wine is a a two minute drive away. After checking out and about forty minutes into our drive back to Bari, I realised that I had left my purse and passport wallet behind in a cupboard. A quick message to Anthony, our lovely host and it was all sorted. He confirmed it was there and in his own time, posted it to me in Florence with no guarantee that he would be reimbursed by me. Fantastic service, over and above.

Negative: I hated that we had to leave.

Summary: Pure understated opulence with a great host.
